Willis The Bear!

This my friends is Willis the bear! He is named after a man, that will forever be in my memories! Not because I knew him well, or spent a lot of time with him. I only remember meeting him once! You see He gave me this Bear as a gift , I would say about 14-15 years ago. I will start at the beginning!

I have many wonderful women in my life!

My Grandma Judy happens to be one of them!

Aunt Beth too!

Whenever they got together(we lived 9 hours apart)

They liked to Shop!

This was one of the rare occasions I got to go along!

We were in a crafty store, lots of things that didn't interest a 8 year old!

I did see one thing that I liked, a little bear that looked so sweet!

I don't know if I knew the answer already or not

but, I asked anyway!

I wasn't surprised when Grandma said No, I don't think so!

Me being the VERY WELL BEHAVED KID I WAS :)

Didn't throw a fit or cry , I simply gave up!

This sweet man asked my grandma

If you don't mind I would like to give it too her for being so good.

Needless to say I got a teddy bear that day

I named him after the kind gentleman that showed me such warm love!

He didn't know me,

He had never even met me!

But he showed me the kindness!

I enjoyed my Willis bear!

My story doesn't end there! Willis was on a shelf for many years , in a bedroom at my grandparents house! Since I have been married and had children of my own, I decided to bring him home with us! I put him on his own special little chair in my bedroom, he reminds me of the kindness that can be shown to others!

On the other hand Mackenzie had other plans for Willis, he is now one of her most favorite companions! Even though his tag says he isn't a toy! She enjoys him very much! So not only has Willis (the Man) blessed me but also my children! One act of kindness can go a long way, even if you don't intend it to ! :)

Our Winter at a glance!

I created this blog with full intention of filling entry's, with the wonderful things happening in my life! My Children and Husband, and the adventures we share. Well a year has now come and gone and I have only one post! Ha I guess that is partly due to being a busy mom, but none the less I am even more determined to do this! I want to share with everyone the blessings I have been given, I often forget how quickly it can all change!

Monday February 13, We received the test results from Esthers heart ultrasound. It wasn't the news we thought we would hear. Her Heart Mummer is no longer classified as innocent, as the Doctor told me the news it felt like my heart was breaking! My Perfect, Sweet, little baby, has a heart condition that will require her to see a cardiologist, most likely, for the rest of her life! I don't fully understand what is going on inside her heart, so I will save that for a later post! The only thing I needed to hear was that it's not normal! We are praying to God for wisdom and healing. We are trusting completely that all this is part of Gods glorious plan for our lives!

Autumn is growing so fast she had a Doctor appointment today and is weighing in at 11 lbs. Time sure is flying by, she is 2 months old already! I am taking my time with her, more than I did with the other 2. Taking it all in that she will only be this small and cuddly for a short time, and then before I am ready will be running and jumping (and fighting) with her sisters! Mackenzie and Esther are enjoying having a little baby to play with, they lay next to her and talk and play. Mackenzie insets that she says words already . :)

I went and looked about sending Miss Mackenzie to pre- school. Talk about depressing, I don't know what I will do without my little girl here. I know that I will miss her terribly! She is excited, and I am excited for her. This will hopefully help our decision on home schooling.

We have had a number of visitors this year, My mom(aka Grammy), My Dad(aka PomPa), My Grandma(Grandma Mary), and Nathans entire family, Mommy, Dawdy, and all of their aunts and uncles! We even made a trip to TN the second week in January! Busy Busy! I fully intend on keeping my blog busy too:)
